For this tutorial we will be using Kaggle. Make sure you have
- Created an account
- If you have a google account it is just matter of clicking
- If you don’t you’ll need an email address to receive where a verification pin will be sent
- Signed in
Once you are signed in, you will be given access to the full resources of a Kaggle Jupyter notebook kernel (16 GB of RAM). Once you are signed in please use the following notebook link:
This will bring you to the notebook. Next steps to setup the notebook are the following
- Make your own copy of the notebook by using the “Copy and Edit” black button on the top right corner. This will make a new copy of the notebook and the input data. The data are in a directory called lepton4 displayed in the bar on the right.
- Below the data section there is Setting section where you can associate a GPU with the notebook.
- You will need a mobile phone to associate the accelerator because kaggle will send you another verification pin using an SMS.
- If you run the notebook without associating the accelerator it will run on a CPU instead of a GPU
